Ahhh beautiful weekend. it is snowing. It has been snowing since Thursday over Meadville. Fortunately it is a light powder snow. I measured earlier. Under my spruce tree it was at 9 inches (22cm) in the middle of my front yard,12 to 14 inches (35 cm) . I have shoveled 3 times today.. I still have to do it one more time. I took Ashley to work today and have to pick her up at 10 tonight. Poor little socks the snow is over his head. I have to shovel places for him to use the bathroom.. Ashley took some pictures today of the back yard. I will post them latter after she emails them to me from her pc. My pc is to old and does not have a slot for the camera card. I will amend this post when I can add some pictures this week I have no prewritten poem for a a day like this. So lets see what comes to pass.....

Winter Dreams

Cold grey light the morning brings

Trackless snow covers the land

With trees sleep

Dreams are spun

Morning light shows

On winters breath,

A dance unfolds

......

Falling, Slidding

Soaring, floating

Looking for its perfect nest

......

Hour on hour

The dancers celebrate

Longing for rest

...

When laid to bed

A single flake...

A single word

It knows it place

....

In winters cold

Trees do read

the story written
