Ok..... almost a great day.... I got lots of work done today. I got potholes in the stores parking filled. I repaired the mower deck that was rusting through. I got a branch cut off a tree in the front yard that was over hanging the roof. The bad stuff.... The tree limb broke my outside security lights when it came down. I wanted purple cabbage for dinner... the store that carried it no longer carries it. First load of laundry did fine... second load... now more spin cycle I think the 1;8 yr old machine broke a belt......so when I am finished here it is off to the laundry mat. ...... The worst I finally got a chance to tell Ashley I had to put Socks to sleep..... We dearly miss him.....He developed a severe case of diabetes.That last weekend he could barely stand. When he did, he was confused as to where he was and what to do. Broke my heart...... February 8 he was put to sleep. I had him cremated. ..... The house is empty....... I did go to the lake afterwords it is still iced over... I took a chair and sat on the dam for a while... If a poem comes it comes.... Love ya Socks... I hope you are chasing birds, rabbits and squirrels somewhere. Just got back from laundry mat....1 and 1/2 hrs...because the first machine I picked refused to spin out 2times.....arghhhhhhhhhhh hope this is the worst of the week.
