Long time it has been since I have written here. I think when Tamarack was drained I sort of turned inside. I quit looking to what is around me in nature. I did write a few over the year.
Perfection
Open flower bud
Shows beautiful
perfection
As tattered petal
As tattered petal
Holding Life
With life of beauty
A flower holds no sadness,
Of both, we hold much
A leaf
A spring breeze
of change
embraces a leaf
Still curled and green
in it's youth
It's bond to home
broken...
A silent fall onto
the flowing stream below...
Riding the currents,
the whims ofRiding the currents,
life
Work on the damaged dam should be started this year. I wonder if I stopped with the writing because I was looking for something deeper to hide within the words. Possibly I am just tired. The bones ache more and the eyes are more problematic. No mater what the cause, life is still full of beauty and promise. I will continue writing when the words come to me.
For this season I wish all my friends and family Merry Christmas and have a happy new year.
To my special friend in Denmark, I still think of you and your family. I know i never walk alone. I hope you see and enjoy these 3 poems/
