Two more poems I revised from older ones. These two are in Americanized Haiku.

Tree swing

Swing hangs from old oak
Breezes push rotted frayed ropes
Dreams fly free no more

Perfection

From the flower bud
Perfectly grown beauty
The tattered petal

  2. We shall be honest. Oh Chris Chris - I lost my lovely fast long hair Joker. He only reach to be 4 and half year old. He now walks with Bonnie. Last year hubby broke his right leg 2 times. But he moves on and on, thats good. Our youngest son will get a child more about May.
You know no matter what, I will always read your poems. They are food for the soul.
Poems with trees and leaves really touch souls. You hit history of life more than you know.
Chris sometimes it don`t let me poste. I hope this reach you.
Hope the winter is not to cold for you. I have seen how hard it is for your place this winter.

    1. Susi, I am sorry to hear you lost your companion Joker. I am glad to hear hubby recovers ok with is leg and it was nothing more serious. A new grandchild on the way. Life forever moves forward. I do not know if I told you, my oldest Kimberly got remarried Jan. 2015 Ashley just got married this past October. With Ashley married the house was to big and expensive so it is sold. I am in transition with housing right now I am living with Kim waiting for a 1 bedroom apartment to open up downtown. There is also some good news on Lake Tamarack...Work has started on the dam rebuild. Hopefully it will be finished by the fall and refilled by spring 2019. We were fortunate we did not get hit with the snow Erie got over Christmas. We did get about 9 inches tought. We did get below 0* and had freezing weather last weekend 12th and 13th with more snow and Thurs the 11th wegot it with 60*F and rain You may have seen on international news Meadville got flooded a bit.Just now they are finishing up the cleanup. I think flood stage for French creek is a little over 11 ft. with the flooding it crested at over16 ft. If you are interested ....on Facebook you can find me most of the day in the chat room called https://www.facebook.com/groups/169899680009359/?ref=bookmarks which is called World Wide Roundtable hopeto hear from you soon here or in FB.
